Lost my Skimboard

25 07 2008

I was skimming at Aliso beach in laguna a couple days ago and the run off was pushing really hard. So I attempted to try to skim the run off. I fell and my board went out to the ocean and was never to be seen again. well if by any chance anyone finds a M carbon fiber exile board with the colors yellow on top and purple on bottom there is a picture of an emo kid on the top of the board and the back right stomp pad had fallen off. If anyone just so happens to have seen it or has it please let me know. its a new board i have only had it for about three weeks. So now with no board things arent so great. if you know anything please let me know. you can contact me at Vpboogie8@aol.com or just write a comment to this post. thank you!

Santa Cruz

16 07 2008

For those that have never skimmed Santa Cruz before we would like to inform you that there are skim spots that are actually really good. 38th street is the local skim spot. After walking down some stairs and then across some wet rocks you find yourself in a little cove meant for skimming. 38th has a liner that can carry for about a minute….. if you can find the right day its working. Also there is talk of a frontside sidewash some where in Santa Cruz. If anyone knows anything about it let me know. Under the picture section there are some new pictures of the locals we were able to skim with. Not only did we skim with the locals but we were able to skim with Steve Caballero the pro skater.

-There are some new videos and pictures check them out!

Skimming Balboa

4 07 2008

Balboa Beach, CAThrough the years some of the great skim spots in balboa were at A street or the wedge. To a certain surprise thought G street has been going off the past couple of weeks. When I mean going off I’mtalking about font side lines that carry for a good amount of time and perfect waves to wrap and get some! since it is summer season and you cant skim the wedge after 10AM and you also don’t feel like dealing with the big crowd at A street make your way down to G and check it out!

Stranger Things Happen

1 07 2008

A Sean Ward filmSean Ward after 3 years of filming has finally put together one of the best skim movies to hit the stores. The film has a lot of unknown skimmers. Don’t get me wrong every skimmer in this movie rips it.

Some of the skimmers that are in this epic movie are Scott Flores, Paulo Prietto, Geo, Bill Bryan, Toby Lehman, Mo Just, Joey Vavala, Domke, James Lovett, and more. The movie is worth every penny and the special features are awesome. Check it out as soon as you can
